I know Ian Somerhalder most especially for his role in Lost. Granted he is not one of my personal favourites from the show but there is no disproving his hunkie status! I am also exceedingly charmed by the causes in which he takes a personal interest – as an environmentalist and human rights enthusiast myself, how can I not!

Eric was born in Los Angeles, California to Sharon and David Balfour and he has a younger sister named Tori.

Eric is an actor, getting his start in Kids Incorporated, and doing TV and movies over the last 2 decades, that journey landing him in a small town in Maine called Haven.

But with all that, Eric never stops moving, he’s also a singer, a dj, a writer, and a director. His fans adore him, why? Because, he’s passionate. Passionate about his work, and about his world. He promotes causes trying to make the world a better place. Causes like Falling Whistles, Free The Slaves, and Surfrider, just to name a few. He once said in a interview that as an actor he could use his face to sell alcohol and underwear, or he could use it to try and make the world a better place. That’s why we love him.

Like his character Spencer Reid from “Criminal Minds”, Matthew Gray Gubler comes from Las Vegas, Nevada. While he was at NYU film school, a model scout discovered him and Matthew worked for Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, and American Eagle to name but a few. His sister Laura Dahl is a fashion designer based in New York.

It came as no surprise to hear Matthew had been a model. He has the look of one. He does however play an exceptional geek.

Jeffrey Combs has been nominated for this weeks Over 40s Hunkie category – and I am seconding the nomination. I have to admit, Jeffrey Combs is only ever appealing to me when he is dressed up as an alien, especially as Shran.

Up to Jaron Lowenstien being nominated for this weeks poll “All in the Eyes” I had no knowledge of who he is. So here´s a little from wikipedia.

Jaron David Lowenstein (born March 18, 1974), is an American musician and one of identical twin brothers who performed as Evan and Jaron.

So, one of twins and a musician.  There you have it – Jaron Lowenstein, was a nominee for August 2010´s “All in the Eyes” category. Not my type but I am sure he has enough admirers to counteract the disapointment he will no doubt feel (I hope I dont have to highlight the humour/sarcasm here).
