Garrett John Hedlund is an American actor, from Roseau, Minnesota, best known for his roles in the films Friday Night Lights, Four Brothers, Eragon, Country Strong, for his role as Patroclus in the movie Troy and as Sam Flynn in the film Tron: Legacy.
Actor Richard Gere was born on August 31, 1949, in Philadelphia. He was picked by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world in 1991, and as their Sexiest Man Alive in 1999. He is an accomplished pianist and music writer. He is also a great humanitarian – founding member of “Tibet House,” a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan culture.
Trevor Marshall St. John is an American actor from Spokane, Washington, and raised in nearby Orchard Prairie. He is most well known for his portrayal of Todd Manning/Victor Lord Jr. on the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live, and has starred in various prime time shows and film.
Tyler Lee Hoechlin is an American actor from Californica who managed to get his big break starring alongside Tom Hanks in the film Road to Perdition (2002) as Michael Sullivan Jr. He is now perhaps best known for his work on television playing the role of Martin Brewer on 7th Heaven and the role of Derek Hale on the MTV series Teen Wolf.
Good looking guy with smouldering and dark looks – would have made an exceptional Edward Cullen even I have to admit (and I am no fan of Twilight).
Brandon Flowers, as most of you will surely know, is frontman of the Las Vegas based rock band “The Killers”. After being born in Nevada he spent many of his formative years in Henderson and Payson before moving to Las Vegas to live with his Aunt.
Became the frontman of The Killers in 2001 after responding to an advertisement. The official line up of the band you see today finally came together in August 2002 after being joined by bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci.
Married his long term girlfriend in 2005 with whom he has three sons.
Kenny Wormald is a professional dancer who has now turned to acting – most notably in the latest remake of Kevin Bacon´s movie “Footloose”. Featured extensively in movie videos of Madonna, Mariah Carey, Chris Brown and Nelly Furtado to name just a few.
To be fair I hadnt heard of him until noticing Footloose, originally starring Kevin Bacon, was to be remade.
Shia Saide LaBeouf career beginnings actually were in stand up comedy – his first gigs being in coffee shops around his neighbourhood. Was inspired to begin acting when a friend of his had a part in Dr Quinn Medicine Woman. Found an agent who liked him for his stand up routine.
He spent sometime working in Disney productions thanks to his comedic background before his film career really started to took off following lead roles in Disturbia and Transformers.
Mark Wahlberg is rapper turned actor and now film and television producer. Those of my generation will remember him as being “Marky Mark” – something he seems to dislike being reminded of (cant really blame him on that score – most especially when the full name was “Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch”).
Really rose to fame following his roles in Boogie Nights, Three Kings and The Perfect Storm – the latter probably being the one where he really started to display what he was capable of.
He is a staunch Roman Catholic and it appears we have his faith to thank for him turning his life around and abandoning “Marky Mark”. Thank God for small mercies, all puns intended.
I have to admit when I first saw the nomination for Chris Evans land in my inbox I initially thought of an entirely different Chris Evans…So, do pardon my pause for just a second as I collected my thoughts…This Chris Evans is an American actor with a seriously hot bod (as opposed to the ginger haired guy who annoys the hell out of me). Prior to him taking the lead role in Captain American he was perhaps best known for his role in the films Not Another Teen Movie, Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Now, of course, everyone is talking about Captain America because we get to see so much of it…
What a body it is!
Ed Quinn, well known now for playing Stan the Vampire in True Blood, was born in Berkeley, California. After graduating with a History degree from the University of California he spent sometime working as a model in Paris, Barcelona and Mila. Eventually he landed some parts in international TV commercials and was drawn into acting.
I absolutely adored Ed Quinn as Stan in True Blood. A small part ended far too soon, but extremely noticeable. He has a presence on camera which makes him hard to ignore. Definitely seconded!
