Juanes, or Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez as he is actually known, is a Colombian musician exceptionally popular in the spanish speaking world – although I do understand he is acquiring an English speaking following now too.
Not only is he known to be an exceptional talent musically but he is also known for being actively involved in humanitarian work – most particularly in raising aid for Colombian victims of anti-personnel mines.
