Eric Northman is the hottest guy in True Blood, if the results of our latest poll are anything to go by that is!
Whilst I do not doubt his status as the one of the hunkiest vampires on True Blood, if not the hunkiest, I do have to wonder at someone describing him as a gentleman in the comments! Unless the definition has changed remarkably in the last few years I do not see anything remotely gentlemanly about Eric Northman´s behaviour on the show! Now, Alex Skarsgard on the other hand… very gentlemanly it seems

To each his own Alex/Eric is so my type. He is nothing like all the Hollywood clones out there one interchangeable for the other. He is special and unique. Who wants a gentleman anyway they are totally boring.

Precisely – Whilst I doubt a fan labelling him a gentleman, I do not doubt the man´s sex appeal. Gentlemen are boring… Eric Northman, since this poll is about characters, is far from boring.

I may be missing something but I do not see anyone being rude? Joy stated Eric was her type and she finds gentleman boring… and fembat merely stated she doubted Eric could be labelled as a gentleman but doesnt doubt his sex appeal.
My understanding is they are perfectly happy with the result since they both find Eric sexy?

I write them Sarah – and it was not being rude. I think you are reading far too much into a light hearted quip about someone referring to Eric Northman as a gentleman. I am sorry if you take it to be offensive but I am fairly confident few others have. Nor I am remotely a sore loser – Eric won, it was well deserved because he rocks. Where is the problem?

Sarah, This site is meant to be run for fun. Thats all the comments were – light hearted and fun. I think you are taking the comments a little too seriously and reading offence where none is intended. The gentleman comment is a reflection on the character of Eric Northman… not the delightful and very gentlemanly Alex Skarsgard.
Now, I mean this in the nicest possible way, lighten up. It was a joke.. humour

Jesus Christ Girl. You really need to find yourself a sense of humour. I am an Alex Skarsgard / Eric Northman fan and I took the comments in the spirit they were intended – which is, incidentally, the point of the site – to have a little fun. Everyone except you seems to understand there was no offence intended here. Step off your high horse and calm down, maybe develop a sense of humour.
