Hugh Laurie
Hugh-Laurie-8

If you had told me a few years ago that I would, in the not too distant future, regard Hugh Laurie as a hunkie I would have laughed in your face. Seriously. I can still remember the geeky comedian who played socially awkward and dry. Then the Americans imported him.

All of a sudden he is House. I remember when I first saw him as House, it was in a TV ad for the oncoming first season. My jaw dropped through the floor and I exclaimed “That CANNOT be Hugh Laurie, its not f***ing possible!”

Ever since then I have eaten my words and regarded Hugh Laurie with completely different eyes. So, yes, he is without any shadow of a doubt a Hunkie (with a capital H)

I was always surprised that not one of you had nominated the delightful Hugh Laurie, and finally I had to resort to nominating myself. Then lo and behold two minutes after this scheduled post went live a nomination landed in my inbox – talk about coincidental!

Picture the scene, Sunday night, I am watching Lost on TV. Desmond Hume suddenly pops up onto the screen and I find myself wondering how on earth I had managed to post so many gorgeous men as hunkie nominees without a single thought of Henry Ian Cusick! Its almost criminal.

Born to a Scottish father and a Peruvian mother he is simply a gorgeous man… and as Desmond with his wee Scottish lilt he is positively irrisistable!

I noticed from his bio that he has now joined the cast of one of my favorite shows CSI Miami, although I have not had a chance to see him in it on account of Spain being 10,000 years behind in terms of TV shows!
