"He's such a versatile actor, playing roles from a serial killer in Criminal Minds to a down-on-his-luck normal joe in The Oyster Farmer. Then there's being a vampire in Moonlight and a badass detective in The Shield - What's not hot about that? He's also in The Back Up Plan with JLo and he's starring in the upcoming remake of Hawaii Five-O. He also played a doctor in Three Rivers and made a lot of us wonder what all the fuss over McDreamy was about.
He masters accents seemingly effortlessly (I didn't even know he was a Aussie!), which I think is hot in and of itself. Plays guitar and sings: check. Devoted dad: check. Advocate of organ donation: check. All-around modest guy: check.

Following that write up one does have to say my followup seems a little, unrequired? They covered everything I like about Alex O´Loughlin. He has an intensity I like, he´s beautiful. I can think of no better word to describe him - an inner glow shines through him and its evident in much of the work he does that he has talent. A hunkie nominee through and through.

very nice, and cute, and charming and…. I would like finding him under christmas tree
I have seen him in all his movies, and all the shows he has been in. He is extremely talented, his versatility as an actor is perhaps unacknowledged. I pesonally believe his best role was as a vamp-detective in Moonlight, but no matter what role he plays he does so w/ an intensity that is mesmerizing. You can tell he spends much time researching the role, and gives all of himself. I also admire his charity/ humanitarian work as a spokesman for Organ Donation. He seems to be a very down-to-earth, modest, gentlemanly, kind-hearted, individual who truly enjoys what he does, and has not let the industry change who he is. He deserves all the accolade and success possible. I hope he will be around a long time….
